Wanted to test the fitness today to see what kind of pace I could run if I decide to run the half next Saturday

  1. 7:30
  2. 6:31
  3. 6:58
  4. 6:22
  5. 6:37
  6. 6:53
  7. .55 @6:06

44:11    6:45 overall avg pace The pace was all over the place but the effort was pretty steady except for the first mile when the legs were getting warmed up. Not really sure what to take from this but feel like I could keep close to a 7 min. pace if I pace myself and the weather cooperates.

nice splits, I totally understand that "The pace was all over the place" statement with it being just two weeks post Boston. Keep up the great recovery and I think you'll be more than ready for that 1/2 mary.....

Thanks IJR, but not sure what I can do for 13 miles, if I decide to run. The weather is still kind of got me worried. I have until Thursday to make up my mind.

Yo HBR, what is the projected weather pattern?

Low in the high 50's with a high in the 80's with a good chance of rain in the morning, I have to take in consideration that this race is started at 6:30 am. What do you think Coach?
