Sounds like you are doing the smart thing. Any running now is just to keep things fresh. There is not fitness to be gained at this point. Get healthy and that BQ will be there for you.

Rhett, thanks for asking but as bad as I hate to I think I'm throwing in the towel and pulling the plug on running Saturday. The good news is I'm seeing some signs of the leg coming around. I don't think I'll be sidelined for very long. I'm able to get some cardio on the bike so I'll be able to keep some level of fitness while I'm rehabbing. I know you know how it feels "It's a Bummer". When I finally stop feeling sorry for myself I could put things in perspective and realize there's a whole lot of worst things out there than not being able to run a marathon.
