That hammy is going to push right up till race day, but you are going to be rested and just fine. Stay patient.

Rhett said you might be running The Illinois Marathon this sat in Champaign, I'm too. Bib number 1085 bold black guy. I hope to meet someone from the blog in person in one off these races.

At this stage of the game why is it your still lifting weights and walking and running and biking....take a taper break man, get off your feet and let the injuries heal.....

Bro. it's called rehab...I've thrown in the towel on the marathon. As much as I hated it things just weren't healing fast enough. Sure I might be able to make a effort to run but I felt like the chances I'd be taking could and probably would make things worst in the long run and it wasn't worth it. I feel like I'll be back to running by sometime next week probably won't be doing any speed work but a least I'll be running.

Sorry to hear that it isn't getting any better HBR. I can empathize as I had to take a DNF of my last marathon. I am glad I pulled the plug when I did though and am already back to full running. Had I tried to finish that race, I'd probably still be injured. Sometimes you just gotta do the smart thing. Good luck with the rehab.

Yasir It would have been Great to have met you in Champaign this weekend but I got sidelined due to a injury and won't be running Saturday. Good Luck it looks like the weather is going to be about what they had to deal with in Boston. I've been looking at your training and it looks like that you are more than ready to have a Good run.
