A good morning workout before work. Is there a better way to start the work week ????

I ran the 5k course (twice) that I'll be running this weekend. I wanted to get a good feel for how I should go out.

  1. 7:40
  2. 7:12
  3. 7:01
  4. 6:39 (picked the pace up the second time around)
  5. 6:38
  6. 6:34
  7. .5 cooldown

6:57 avg pace overall

The race is this Saturday night at 7:00 and the weather forecast right now looks like it'll be in the 40's. Depending on the wind which will have an big affect because it's ran across Kentucky Dam and it's all open. I'll probably go out @6:15 the first mile and see what happens. I'll be looking at a 19:30 give or take 15 seconds. Hopefully!!
