Congratulations on the marathon! With a name like Surf City sounds like a fun one. Hope you recover quickly.

Thanks, this is a really fun race with a great atmosphere. The recovery is coming along better than I anticipated. I don't have a lot of time to waste I've got to get ready to run a 3:30 or less at Boston so I'll have a BQ for 2014. How about you what race plans do you have for 2013??

Hey Hillbilly Runner, Congrats on a great race at Surf City.Where's your race report?

From JimF on Tue, Feb 12, 2013 at 12:01:23 from 98.222.218.178

You will love Boston. It is a great race and atmosphere. The crowds should help carry you to your goal. Just be careful not to get too carried away on the first part. It is mostly downhill starting out. I have a half in May and am just trying to get back up to consistent running. Good luck preparing for Boston.

Looks like you and Slick had a good time at Surf City HBR. Seems like you had some pretty even splits there for the race also, with just a slight slow down at the very end. Good job!
