AM run 60's and "Sunny"
I wanted to give the foot a test to see how it would do on a longer run. I ran almost pain free and everything feels good right now just a little tenderness and stiffness in the foot but I'll go to the gym and work that out tomorrow. Rest day from running tomorrow just stretching and core work at the gym and maybe a MTB ride in the afternoon.

Felt pretty good for not getting a lot of sleep. I went "jugging" on Kentucky Lake with some friends late night and didn't get in bed till after midnight but it was worth it, we had a lot of fun. If you've never heard of Asian carp you need to watch some videos on youtube it's wild. We had 10# fish jumping in our boat. It was not only funny but it got a little dangerous also. | Add Comment |

| | Ran after work 80's and very humid but things are going to change tomorrow the high is going to be in the mid 50's, cloudy and north wind with a good chance of rain. We have a bike trip plan for the next two days. It'll be 100+ miles tomorrow then about 70 or so Saturday morning ought to be perfect weather if we don't get wet !!!!!!!! Hey, I don't guess I'd melt anyway ??? | Add Comment |

99.67 mile bike ride to Clarksville Tn. on a cold (40's) rainy (90 miles worth) windy day. One bike crash, three flats and several stops to dry out and warm up we were safely in our hotel room. Every year this bike ride becomes an adventure but this year was one of the toughest but looking back I wouldn't have it any other way. | Add Comment |
| | 65.7 mile bike ride on another crisp day temps at the start in the 40's, it did get in the low 50's by the afternoon but didn't feel very warm because of the clouds and a stiff north wind but life was good at least it wasn't raining. Really it was quite an enjoyable ride from Clarksville to Nashville.Actually I made my way through downtown Nashville to about 15 miles south to Franklin Tn . I rode on highway 31 which took me past some of the most beautiful houses and residential areas Nashville has to offer. My wife and my best freind(our Boxer) drove down to meet me. We had supper with a friend from work and his wife that was in town to see his favorite country star at the Grand ole' Opry. Then we enjoyed a little shopping and some ice cream and a good night sleep. | Add Comment |
| | Ran after getting back from Nashville. The legs felt tried and heavy so I took it slow and easy. | Add Comment |
| | AM workout I'm taking a day or two rest from cardio. I"m feeling the effects of the bike crash. One good thing about the rest it's giving my foot time to heal even if I have to take it easy the rest of the week I think I have plenty of time to get ready for Surf City in Feb. | Add Comment |
| | AM workout and a easy easy 3 mile run. I had to test the waters to see how the body was feeling. Not to bad I think I'll be ready to kick the marathon training back in full swing by the end of the week. | Add Comment |

Morning run, a little faster and a little longer than yesterday. I think this old body might be coming around and I can get back to marathon training.
